November Buys

Hi ladies! So I know we are already a few days in December, but here are a list of my top 3 buys of November.

1.) Moccasin Slippers

I got these slippers on Black Friday and I can honestly say it is one of the best purchases I made that day. They are super warm and cozy, and the price tag is definitely a bit better then Ugg Moccasins, and in my opinion they are just as warm and fuzzy in my opinion!

2.) Tunic Blouse

I got this sleeveless blouse a few weeks ago, and all I have to say is I am so glad I did. It is such a versatile staple to add to your wardrobe. I wear it under crew neck sweaters to add a little pop to my outfit, with cardigans & blazers, and when the weather gets warm again (long time from now...) I will definitely be wearing it alone with a statement necklace and leather leggings:)

3.) Aveda Lip Saver

About this time of year every year my lips get unbelievably chapped and cracked! I love this lip saver lip balm by Aveda because one, I absolutely love all of their products and how their company stands for all natural and holistic ingredients in their products and two that it really is the only lip balm that actually moisturizes and heals my chapped lips. I am a huge lip balm/stick/gloss junkie and have tried dozens, and this one, in my opinion, is truly the best. Definitely worth it this time of year.

Perfect Makeup Palette for the Holiday Season

Hi beauties! Around this time of year when holiday parties and gatherings are at full speed, I always am looking for a more gal makeup look, and when I found this palette this weekend at Ulta, I knew this was my answer this season. BareMinerals just released a new palette called "The Magic Act", which provides colors and instructions for contouring and highlighting for your eyes and cheeks. Highlighting and contouring is the hot new trend for the beauty industry, and this palette is the simplest way to get that look. It has a picture and numbers corresponding to what colors you should put where on your face and cheeks in order to get the perfect look. I know it will be on my list to buy for this holiday season! xxx

Turkey Day Outfit

The holiday season is by far my absolute favorite time of the year. As soon as October hits and their is Halloween decorations and pumpkin flavored anything till we cheers to ring in the new year, I am a happy girl. One of my favorite things to plan during the holidays is my outfits. Thinking about Thanksgiving, here are 3 options for three different attires for perfect turkey day outfits that will leave you a little wiggle room to indulge in all the stuffing and pumpkin pie you want:) xxxB&B
CASUAL
This is a casual option if your Thanksgiving is more on the relaxed side. From all my other posts, you all probably know I looove plaid and this shirt is definitely versatile to pair it with jeans (pictured) or dress it up with a fit & flare skirt for work!

BUSINESS CASUAL

I absolutely love this blanket scarf option with heels. The shoes make the outfit slightly more dressy if your attire for Thanksgiving is more business casual. This sweater is super comfy and has wiggle room for lots of yummy food, yet paired with skinny grey jeans is absolutely perfect. Thanks to one of my favorite blogs, itsybitsyindulgences.com for this amazing post. Pair with leggings and slip on sneakers for a more relaxed weekend look.

DRESSED UP
I want this sweater dress with tight combo so bad! It perfect paired with a sparkled necklace to give this outfit a super dressy feel and with leggings and booties makes for a perfect fall look. Pair with tall boots for a simple and dressed down look for brunch with girlfriends.

Rise + Run till Thanksgiving

So about two weeks ago, I made a pact with my friend that we were both going to run the Cleveland Half Marathon in June! It was a big decision for me considering I do not love to run super long distances, but I have been recently finding myself enjoying longer runs outside, so my hope is that with some training I can make it through 13.1 miles in June! I am also really excited to be doing it with my good friend and sorority sister Katie right by my side. There is something so fun and exciting to be able to train and accomplish something with someone you are close with. So I took this rise + run workout from one of my favorite fellow blogs CHAARG which is as well as an amazing college movement which I am ecstatic to say is coming to BG! Lets make this challenge together to try to run this 3x a week till Thanksgiving. (It will make all those yummy Thanksgiving indulgences so much more worth it and deserved:).) Let me know about your progress and we can all do this together! Happy Motivation Monday. XXX

Five Fall Fashion must-haves

Hi Beauties! My name is Danielle and this is my blog:) I am a college student, therefore my blog is going to be my way of expressing all the fashion, food, beauty, fitness, and lifestyle tips I have learned and adapted through my journey in college. Lookout every Monday and Friday for my posts. I hope you all enjoy!

Today I am posting and sharing my five favorites for fall. Oh how I love fall; the pumpkin everything, the crisp leaves, the activities, and most of all the clothes(insert heart-eyed emoji). From boots, scarfs, big sweaters, my list goes on and on. I am sharing five must haves this season that will complete your fall wardrobe. Being college students, money is not exactly flowing in, so these five things can be mixed with many basics in your closet so you can get the most bang for your buck!

1.) Plaid scarf
~Plaid is HUGE this season. I am seeing it in everything from pants, shirts, jackets, headbands, and lots more. The perfect way to incorporate it into your wardrobe is through a scarf. Those who know me know that I am completely obsessed with scarves of all forms, and have a slightly major collection/problem. I just love how they can really spice up and complete an outfit. Here is one from Forever21, who by the way has the most fabulous scarves and accessories for amazing, college-girl friendly prices.

2.) Black booties
~These black booties are too die for. I feel like we all have the usual riding boots, so these are a nice mix to add into your closet. I wear mine with everything from jeans, leggings, dresses, and skirts. They are so versatile to dress up and down and they are super comfy:) WIN WIN.

3.) Jeggings
~Oh do I love jeggings. They are the perfect combination of comfy leggings and the classic of a jean. You can dress them up or down, and are perfect with boots and a scarf for walking to class or a peplum top and heels for a night out.

4.) Utility Jacket
~This jacket is perfect for the fall. It is not too heavy but not to thin, so it keeps you warm through the cooler weather that fall brings. Perfect to through on with a sweater, this jacket is very versatile and a must this fall season.
~Leather is that perfect touch of edginess to any outfit. It dresses up a simple sweater and flats for day, and with a peplum top and necklace can transform quickly into a date night outfit. The perfect addition to your fall wardrobe.

Happy Fall xxx
